I don’t think the Ruger could even share a backplate, pretty sure that is unique. The FCI is also unique on its own.

I'm happy with my 2 Gen3 , and Gen4 (and a quasi clone ) . IF l had a desire for something else in that neighborhood , probably a .45acp Shield .

Glock , the company , isn't making any windfall . It's the dealers and distributors who had some in stock at the time who are practicing Capitalism 101 , supply vs demand , and Willing Buyers ultimately setting the prices .
BUT , seeing the initial V Models , it's obvious it wasn't a normally thought out & developed product line roll out . It's obvious it's a hasty panic stop gap , and politically driven .
Glock managenent had free will to make decisions . But this isn't just effecting them . They're emboldening the " get rid of all guns " element , and de facto throwing the entire gun industry under the bus .
Hence * to me * , l will now treat the Glock Company , the same way l did the Hillary Era Smith & Wesson .

Depending if it sells. Gunbroker right now if full of it. So is SIG M17/18. Personally I’m staying away from those games because I rather have a CZ SHADOW 2 for that price I been seen for some of the Glocks

i dunno, i have no issue(s) with the grip angle or the trigger, in any of the 4? Glocks that i own...my posted target pics, in the past, back me up on that.

I’ll say from someone that doesn’t shoot the only Glock in his collection. The grip angle is totally different and personally can’t get adjusted to it after shooting something else.

I won't buy any V models mainly because i have enough of their other ones. these new ones may be perfectly fine. one thing about a Glock is they work and work well. granted i would have loved to see a different module. they should not change up there FCU and slide, just a better grip and could make some models with the new looks and some with the old looks. i doubt they ever will but if you truly need a gun that is reliable then a Glock fills that bill.
