Michigan is an open carry state, however...

As far as I know, it's the same in Pennsylvania. We have Open Carry, but inside a vehicle is considered concealment and one would need the concealed carry permit to legally have one loaded inside the driving/passenger compartment. This only applies to handguns, rifles must be unloaded if carried in a vehicle regardless of whether one has a ccp or not. At least that the way I heard it when I looked into getting my ccp.

In free states it makes no difference and you don’t need a permission slip. Just sayin’.

And yeah, being able to open carry outside your car, but not inside of it, is the dumbest thing I've heard in a while.
