Military surplus 45 ball

Someone gave me several hundred rounds of Vietnam era surplus .45 ball, still in the GI carton. According to lot numbers the primers are not corrosive. Every bit of it works like a champ thus far, and judging from muzzle report and recoil, this stuff is pretty hot. I'll have to pull out the chrono to see how it compares.

Yes in waxed cardboard.. I was shooting GI surplus ball in the late 60's and these cartons look the same.

Think i still have a little of it, not very much. maybe a couple boxes and then i may have shot it.

It's been a while since I had any surplus ball. Back in the early 80s I bought it by the thousands.
