More magazine capacity

I'll make practical use of what ever "reliable" magazine capacity that is available in a platform depending on circumstances.

I didn't read the entire thread, but I'm happy with my current EDC handguns, which are 5 to 7 round pistols and revolvers. I don't obsess or worry myself with getting into long drawn out shootouts against terrist, drug lords and cartels, dozens of heavily armed "thugs", or bullet proof crack/meth addicts intent on killing me.

True. And sometimes good judgment is the better part of defensive training, or as sometimes it’s said, discretion is the better part of valor.

Choose different surroundings, walk away, don’t escalate the situation, stay away from questionable locations … these are tactics as well.

Good reason to pack a wheelgun. (That’ll stir the stuff). I’m sitting here with an EMP on the belt and I’m quite confident it will deal with any realistic problem I encounter. I’ve no concerns about getting into a “war” against a dozen armed thugs with AK’s. Frankly, even Tactical Timmie with300 rounds of ammo on him is equally screwed in that scenario
