mounting bayonet on m1a tanker

is it possible to fit an m1a tanker with a bayonet lug? I've seen m14 bayonet lugs listed for sale (although they're sold out right now), but I've also read that these won't allow you to fix a bayonet to a SOCOM 16, which is essentially the same gun as the tanker. I just don't want to be in a situation where I really need to mount a bayonet charge and not have the ability to do it. thanks in advance!

You'd have to switch to a standard M1A flash hider since the bayonet lug is integral with it, as is the front sight base..
