Well I dont have any actual shooting time on 4.6x30mm but its supposed to be a pretty good PDW round.

If you insist on a 5.7 there are a couple options. PSW has been teasing a sorta MP7 in 5.7 for a while...and if you want something NOW, Masterpiece Arms makes a Mac 10 in 5.7 that uses FN 57 pistol mags. With a little bit of after market parts it close....

The real questions is why not get the gun in the cartridge it was made to shoot

Whats your source for THAT photo? Im hard pressed to believe those guys are Secret Service (NO ear phones, duck shoes, open top car, not sure what they are supposed to be doing crammed into the car but it doesnt look real...)Nope not buying it
On the plus side they do have the shortened barrel on the UZI, that the USSS had done to fit in the Samsonite brief case and the guy in the blue blazer (duck shoes) has some sort of lapel pin but I cant enlarge the phot to see it clearly.

They look identical to the 81 reagan photo, so it can easily be SS. Unless you personally are an SS expert 🤔

Others have already answered but It was on Mr Gunsandgears FB Page. The backstory Reagan was holding at Augusta where the masters is held in 1983 and agents dressed as casual golfers. A threat appears (this was 2 years after Hinkley tried to assassinate him almost successfully) so I am sure they upped their game by then.

1983 a CAT team (counter assault team and who we saw Storm the stage in full kit at the WHCD last Saturday) not having every troop with ear buds would not be uncommon

For me it's because I own other 5.7 firearms.
The ruger, the s&w, palmetto state, that Turkish thing and the Ruger carbine as well.
Most have never even heard of the hk round.
Nor seen ammo or magazines.

So the real question is, why would we want one of it's not in 5.7?
 
I can't reload for it as there isn't any 18cal bullets, but the stupid thing is there's dies for it. I might neck down or up and chamber for the direction chosen. If I go 20cal it'll have more speed, but 17cal will have better bc's. Like that makes any difference out to 200 yards
