My Second Birthday

Eight years ago, I had a stem cell transplant for Multiple Meloma Cancer.
The heavy dose of chemo totally wipes out your immune system, and I had to get all my immunizations like a new baby, hence the term second birthday.
There is no cure, so they never mention remission, but so far, all my numbers have looked good.
In December I will meet with my transplant doc to see if numbers are still good.
