Yes the Perseid meteor shower is at about it's peak right now.

The peak is predicted** for 14:53 UTC on August 13, 2026. So the mornings of August 12 and 13 are probably your best bets. But August 11 and August 14 might be good as well. Watch your weather!

Thanks! But it's going to be cloudy, rainy, thunderstorms all week. Drat. Not good viewing weather. There's real weather here in the upper Midwest, not like in SoCal.
