Sincere thanks to all who have served and are now serving. The flagrant disrespect and assaults on those who put their lives on the line to keep us safe really tees me off. Some of those in government and media, (you know who you are), should be focused more on supporting them than attacking, be it verbally or physically. That said, I fully support the right of citizens to speak your mind in "peaceful protest", but not the atrocities that we are seeing labeled as such. If you feel that you have been treated unjustly, that's what the courts are for. Just my opinion.

I can't say how much I appreciate LEOs without ranting about how a crappy society has made the job so hazardous.

My son is counting the days 'til he retires, and i'm counting the days until i can quit worrying about him.

at least in our woods we have really great for most part officers and our community supports both sheriff and chief of police
imo our deputies are underpaid, and we need more becasue our county us HUGE
no body wants to work in a small town or county.

Truly the most thankless job in the country. God Bless those with the courage and strength to do a dangerous job most people don’t appreciate and a good number on the left hate for even trying . (And those haters will be the first one’s screaming for help when a thug comes after Them!)

I’ll appreciate 99% of LEOs - INCLUDING ICE! Clowns like the “Sheriff” of Philadelphia, not so much. 100% agree that those that scream the loudest against LE WILL be the first to cry like a baby if LE does not respond to their request for help in 30 seconds!

There certainly are “some” bad apples in the bunch (and lowering the standards in the name of DEI has only increased that %). That said I believe “most” are trying to do their job correctly and return home at the end of their shift.

Around me the State and City LEOs are great guys. The county Sherrif not so much.

They took on traffic duty with the newly elected Sheriff. Even the State and City guys are complaining about them. They are pulling some Roscoe P. Coltrane shenanigans to write tickets.

I make it a point if I'm in a restaurant and see a First Responder, their meal is on me. Same for Military
