Anyone ever watch Don Shipley the former Navy Seal that exposes phony Navy Seals? Well here's a song made specifically for Don Shipley by Aaron Schutte. Its a funny tongue and cheek song based on the subject of stolen valor that I thought some of you may enjoy so I decided to share the link.

Please be warned that there is some mature language in this song.

O.M.G! I love that song!! And I hate stolen valor. Really though, those asshats and pretenders deserve every vile, nasty thing that gets in their way. Thanks for posting that song...it's such a catchy tune!

So much stolen valor out there. Was just at the VA Hospital in Tucson and tend to greet any Nam vet or Marine. Some when asked give nonsensical answers to their unit or time in country. I just let it pass. But seems everyone was a Marine, Green Beret, Ranger or SEAL.
Remember anybody in service from the early 60’s through the mid 70’s is a “Vietnam era vet”- that does NOT mean they served in Vietnam. My cousin is a Vietnam era vet but the closest he got to there was Rota Spain.😏. You have two groups out there-one are actually veterans who may desire their story to be more dramatic than it really was. The second are those who never served and want the world to think they were Rambo.🙄

Its funny how guys that didnt have the balls to even serve or volunteer for combat are the worse. I recall as a young PFC just out of jump school seeing a guy on post with a sloppy uniform and boots polished with Hershey bars. Then I noticed his CIB and the combat patch on his sleeve. As a young soldier I was envious.

Hate cheaters and liars. In the draft I was 4F, married with a dependent in '69, in '71 I joined RA, two days later my second son was born. Went to an Intel job in Heidelberg, didn't go to Nam, but I still got shot at and my office bombed........whatever.
