New Orleans jailbreak - employee arrested.

Well, the maintenance worker did more then you just turn off the water, those toilet/sink combos unbolt from the rear, somebody had to remove all the bolts period, and there is no way any inmate could just pull those off the wall, how do I know this, I was certified to work on institutional plumbing and I worked on these many times while at my county jail, also certified to work on institutional door locks and systems.

You may very well be right but never underestimate the chicken theory. The farmer gets up feeds and waters the chickens, collect the eggs, has breakfast and starts a long hard day of work. The chicken hops off the perch, pecks some grain, has a bit of water and spends its day leisurely thinking on were to hide the egg tomorrow and how to get out of the pen. ;)
Not my analogy told to me a long time ago about underestimating I/Ms
Why do these idiots always think they won't get caught?
Because dumb criminals go to jail while smart criminals get elected to office.

Whole bunch of sub variants :

Dumb Criminals get caught . Smart Criminals not nearly so often .

In breaking out of prison , the breaking out is the easy part . It's the Staying out that's difficult .

Exit imeadate vicinity discreately .

New documents / identity .

Assets and connections to settle into new location .

Keep low profile there , and no contact with anyone from old place .
