Having a 5” 625 I wish they would bring back the 4” myself more of a 45 acp with moon clips myself.
I have 357 that fill my need if I want to run 180’s etc. nut I am just a sample of one!
Nice to have choices

That’s fine, but I’d really like to see an L-frame 10mm, even if they have to go five-shot.
I agree…I’ve got plenty of .357’s if I want that level of 10mm performance…and a couple of .41’s if I want TRUE magnum performance over 180gr.Having a 5” 625 I wish they would bring back the 4” myself more of a 45 acp with moon clips myself.

As far as revolvers other tjan a classic Model 13 with 3” barrel and bobbed hammer (like the FBI and Secret Service use to issue)I agree…I’ve got plenty of .357’s if I want that level of 10mm performance…and a couple of .41’s if I want TRUE magnum performance over 180gr.
And…yes, it would be nice to see the 657 Hunter brought back. I really like mine, and it will be one of my last big-bores to go.
A new 657 Mountain gun, though…take my money.
I’d love them to make a 58/658 (fixed sights)…using the sights that the UC J-frames would be perfect…or the same as the Night Guard series used.As far as revolvers other tjan a classic Model 13 with 3” barrel and bobbed hammer (like the FBI and Secret Service use to issue)
I have always wished S&W would make a 4” full lug (like a 586) 57/657 but have it mat black/blued
Same with a 25/625
Reason why I never bought a revolver in 45acp and 9mm!I wouldn't mind, but it's not my first choice. Not a huge fan of moon clips.
I did the same thing when I bought a 1.0 4.25" 9mm......bought the 5" matching upper. Wasn't much difference than buying a complete firearm.
Agree, my 610 can be a pain, but there is an alternative, EZ Moon Clips, lot easierReason why I never bought a revolver in 45acp and 9mm!
i know. for another $300 or so, i could just get the carry comp. however, being in nj i'd have to go through the permit process, another $50, then wait about 8 weeks for the permit to clear then go through the NICS check ($17 at my lgs) and wait again. This could be delivered to my front door.I did the same thing when I bought a 1.0 4.25" 9mm......bought the 5" matching upper. Wasn't much difference than buying a complete firearm.
Okay that is kind of a game changer. One thing about half/full moons that I do like is that it keeps all the spent brass neatly together, and it's kind of a speedloader built it.
That sounds more like an easy button compared to the NJ crapi know. for another $300 or so, i could just get the carry comp. however, being in nj i'd have to go through the permit process, another $50, then wait about 8 weeks for the permit to clear then go through the NICS check ($17 at my lgs) and wait again. I'll check and see what's the difference.
Another thing, S&W needs to stop the 2-piece barrel and go back to traditional rifling on the revolvers…..
Is S&W still in business?
