New Saint Victor

welp, it came in. i got some goodies ordered for it. trigger is really nice on this thing.

While i was there he showed me this SA 2020 22 target rifle. now i ain't much for bolt guns but twhen i held this and pulled the trigger i had to have it. thing weighs more than that 308 has a threaded barrel and a trigger that is very light and crisp. bolt works really smooth. the mag looks just like a 10/22 but something is different. my mags here won'tlock up. they are close but no deal. it came with a case too.

It's a 10/22 magazine, nothing different, trust me, unless yours is finicky, mine won't take extended (25 round type) magazines

I use 10/22 mags in my rifle without issue.

I've got the scary version of the Saint Victor, mine's black.

I have to wait for "big caliber night" at my indoor range. But the weather is warming up. Maybe I can visit an outdoor range soon and have some fun with it.

The saint Victor has a gear up deal, registered it yesterday, a crimson trace dot, extra mag and a single point sling. only thing i will use is the mag. the dot may go on something else and i don't like single point slings, especially on a full size 308.

I was lookin around for something for that 2020 and seen about all the reviews on it are bad, mostly for accuracy. dern thing is made in Turkey so we shall see.

I modified the mags a tiny bit, they do lock up now and bolt cycles them fine. also put a adjustable height bipod on it i had.

I loaded 15 rounds in each one and it run through all of them just cycling the bolt. now when it fires it may be different. but i'll give it a shot. i can't wait to shoot it.

I had to file that ridge off the back of the mag a little to make it go all the way in. they lock up easy now.

Switch out the trigger for a Geiselle Tricon. You'll love that even more.
