Troopers have always loaded up with extra mags in an active areas.

Four extra mags gives you 220 rds. It's real each just 2 extra 2-mag pouches. If someone can't handle that they should do some more push-ups, or join the Girl Scouts.

The belt-fed M250 is for suppressive fire.

The issue with the M7 will be the fancy computer-controlled optic. They need to keep things simpler & cheaper.

Not what I was implying. My point was to be that we are going back to what worked previously. A heavier hitting round in a heavier rifle. Good old days. What worked then still works now.
