Yea I got pretty fair amount of 38 because if my model 640Thanks.
It is a cupcake; but S&W refinished it…
In September of 1952 (when the put the new stocks/grips on it; I have since found a set of correct stocks).
It’s got the sweetest trigger outside of a classic Python I’ve felt, and is a complete tack driver.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use it as a carry pistol, if I had to.
I suspect your new one will be pretty dang nice as well.
Stock up on .38’s!
