how about the firearm industry not allow leo's to obtain their firearms in those states! if it's bad for the citizens, then it has too be bad for leo's...................these people sit on the fence and regulate both sides and it doesn't comply to them. don't let the politicians have security along with state/city/county officials!

what i DO NOT like, is that if things are illegal for us, they are NOT illegal for the retired LEO and current/retired military..
for instance, the 10 round mag bans...
they can have any mag they want, "just cuz", they were former (or current) LEO or military..what F-ING sense, does that make....????
in my opinion....."once retired...you are a PRIVATE citizen like the rest of us, and should be treated as such"
they do "all right" on their pensions (many here retire on a disability pension..DOUBLING the normal pension payouts...!!!
not many of us regular citizens can retire on such pensions........

it is not like they would suffer a major profits loss if they did.
then of course other makers will come in, and i am certain the pricing would be higher.

Not many other careers get shot at, stabbed, blown up, run into fights, have their families threatened, get struck by careless drivers when directing traffic in the rain, have to pick up body parts, get stuck by dirty needles when searching addicts, have to smile when some guy spits on them, miss family events more than not, cant remember the last Christmas morning they were home to see the kids open presents, Have phrases like, "This is my Monday" because weekends off are rare, work doubles and triples with no heads up because "something happened" Or Or Or.... should I go on?
I shake my head when people complain about police pay and benefits, and carry laws. They had the opportunity to be a cop but chose a different path and yet still complain

you don't understand..here, the union (many say was under Mafia rule) was 100% involved in the pension system, no public input, no public "insight" into how the police/fire can easily retire on a hefty disability pension.
