Nick Shirley Exposes $110,000,000 Fraud

Yea, the first modern "hard look" audit of US Govt. business was a waste of time, since there's no fraud, waste & corruption in SS, Medicare, Medicaid, ACA, Climate change subsidies, Illegal alien importations, CA & MN & other state govts use of Fed funds. yadda yadda yadda.
I’m not sure at the end of the day that we in the public sector will ever have access to, or be able to audit DOGE, but from a recent NYT deep-dive article comes the attached graph.

I’m also not sure how one “commits fraud on the Government,” if the Government has no way to conduct checks and balances on how it grants or distributes the money, but that’s what DOGE was supposed to expose.

At the end of the day I think DOGE was a great idea, but not implemented with the right staff, maybe.

DOGE was a great door opener to this whole mess we’ve all known about for years, just didn’t comprehend the extent of the corruption and misuse of tax dollars. Until then ppl didn’t even know what an NGO was.
And too afraid to actively talk about at the dinner table. In other words, DOGE made us talk about what we all knew was going on but were afraid to admit. For that, I was all in favor of it. I think it was a great idea, just came off the rails too soon.

There are plenty of “DOGE fact-checked-type” reports out there that comfirm DOGE got a lot of stuff just flat wrong, so I wouldn’t jump to cite DOGE as any legitimate authority as to government waste.
Just keep on paying your taxes. Hopefully you're working hard and paying your taxes. Freeloaders are counting on you and lives depend on your tax revenue man!
