Highway pegs and cruise control(throttle lock)...2 of the first modifications I did to my Goldwing

My newer wing has electronic cruise like a car, has heated seats, hand grips and heated vents that blow on your legs.I don't ride much as i used to, that nomad has 65,000 miles on it. i rode it to work every day. even in the winter. I had big plans to take off on the wing with the wife and just ride till we wanted to stop, but unfortunately things didn't work out to do that.

Those Goldwings reliable beasts, and are sooooo quiet, almost walked backwards into the path as it rode past me while at a Harley dealer party, I stepped backwards to look at a buddy’s foot pegs, and this GW whizzed (waltzed) by, almost like it was coasting but actually throttling at low 3mph.

My H-D FLHX is heavy, but those GW‘s are even way more so (2-300 lbs?) for me to try and navigate say at a stop or stopping on an incline these days. I could use a reverse gear though !
