Note to iphone users on scam text purportedly from state DMVs on tolls owed

Yea those are just ridiculous!

I mean if the simple spam. If I see an NJ area code I know it’s crap because everyone from that state of importance is in my phone already 😂
 
This is nothing new, I've been getting them since last year.
1. I don't have an EZ-pass
2. I never travel on tollways, all my driving GPS instructions are to bypass toll booths. Especially since Illinois and surrounding states no longer have a way to pay cash or change. It's all digital online payment only. Personally I feel digital only gave these scumbags a leg up in this scam. Illinois couldn't even be bothered to go out to collect their cash/change lanes to empty the money. some had so much change in them it could no longer register that you threw change in it to operate the gate.

Couple of things about this video:
1. It's not $99/mo like he says, that was a mistake.
2. I do not recommend using them for virtual credit cards. For that, I recommend privacy.com I just use My Sudo for phone numbers.
3. This video is 3 years old. I'll see if I can find a newer one

I have done my best to only give my cell# to my people. I had a apartment line and cell. Everybody else got the apartment #. I get Jerzey computer calls but nowadays all legit #s have a name not state or a town as the id, and voicemail will answer the call just leave a message.....

Texts are maybe once a year and the house i'm selling in Florida is it still for sale. I want to answer yes but i need the money sent to me first before they could see the house....

And if i ever got a toll text i'm from Jerzey no tolls are collected through texts heck no gubment thing will text warnings they will mail or call....

I hate even giving the doctors offices, in my case the corporation running healthcare my cell# and i say it's my home#....
