That’s why I’m starting to lean towards follow the money…or who would lose a lot of it if an alternative energy source was developed that was way cheaper and more efficient.

The amount of Chinese Nationals working for the Communist Govt in the USA is staggering. Especially at our Universities. #1 internal threat to our nation and Presidents have turned a blind eye for decades. Even Trump allows it to happen.
My theory would be the Chinese are quietly removing a section they see as easy opportunity.
 
As of May 2026, multiple US citizens have been implicated in working for or acting as agents for the Chinese government, including high-profile cases of local officials and government aides. These individuals have been charged with acting as illegal agents by promoting Chinese propaganda, suppressing pro-Taiwan views, and pushing PRC interests within the U.S.. [1, 2, 3]

  • Eileen Wang: The former Mayor of Arcadia, California, resigned in May 2026 after agreeing to plead guilty to acting as an illegal agent for the Chinese government between 2020 and 2022. She admitted to running a pro-Beijing news site and spreading propaganda under the direction of PRC officials.
  • Linda Sun: A former aide to New York Governor Kathy Hochul was charged in September 2024 with acting as an illegal agent for China. She is accused of manipulating state-level actions to favor Chinese interests in exchange for financial benefits.
  • Yaoning “Mike” Sun: A former fiancé of Eileen Wang, who served a four-year sentence for participating in the same illegal lobbying scheme.

These cases are part of an ongoing effort by U.S. federal authorities to crack down on foreign influence and illegal agent operations, often referred to as "rooting out" Chinese influence in American institutions.

Add in many US politicians that have been influenced by the CCP, and throw in thousands of "anchor-babies" taken back to the CCP for future "re-insertion" to the US the future doesn't look good.

Let’s not forget this guy. Though no wrongdoing has been found (yet), I wonder how much access he gave her to other people/schemes that have never been found out.
