I have the OG .45 and it just can not handle SWC at all. Stovepipe city. Seems to be a known issue but I cant find if polishing the feed ramp will work. Help, love the gun but this really sucks.

It is a known issue that has no fix, as of last I heard.
Polishing the feedramp won't help; problem has to do with (iirc) a rail or protrusion on the bottom of the slide. Some XD45’s will feed SWC, but most will not.

I believe the XDM has a different slide, and feeds SWC's without issue, so, that's an option.

Ha, yea buying another pistol in this climate with the price gouging is not what I'm getting amped up about lol.
