Other people besides Cooper have used the color code as a teaching aid. But if we're going to specifically reference Cooper "I am in Cooper Orange", then we have to use Cooper's definition.
In the video that I linked to Cooper literally States that Yellow is a general understanding that the world is not a safe place and I may have to defend myself today.
He goes on to say that Orange is the recognition of a specific threat and the consideration that I may have to shoot that person today.
Those are the actual words that came out of Cooper's mouth.
Nobody gives a damn about Bass Bob's definition of the Cooper color code. Or Anchorite's or for that matter and most especially not mine.
So again if you're going to use and specifically reference Cooper's color code then you have to go by Cooper's definition.
