P211 GTO questions for current owners ...

They have a ported and comped version for around $1500.00. Very intriguing to me.
The comp is so easy can't imagine ported and comp'd. Considered the ported opting for the comp due to FMJ ammo requirment. I shoot jacketed however some does not work as advertised meaning need premium ammo for range time. Dumping 300 rounds at .21 per round in an ordinary range trip works for me. Double that and it's no longer as appealing. Into .45 cost range which typically shott 50-100 rounds on the same day often shooting both calibers. Essentialy a $100 ammo 1 or twice a week.

Not a fan of port in rifled portion of barrel either. As far as round count, stop counting it will drive you nuts. I document every round fired. Tally for 2011 type so far.
Staccato XL purchased 11/07/2024 4k ish. 0 malfunctions from day one.
Staccato XC purchased 02/03/2025 over 13k. 1 squib load (Blazer Brass) zero gun related malfunction
Springfield Prodigy 5" Comp purchased 07/10/2024 approaching 9k. 0 malfunction after complete EGW, RED DIRT , POLISH job.

Thats a great track record of shooting with no isuues. Nice to see this rather than the typical rants & complaints about issues. Personally fortunate to have all good experiences 10 pistols with no issues. Someone on another forum asked about a SigP211 vs Fusion XP Comp. Shared my Fusion experience. 1 response said "assume Fusions are crap and go from there". I questioned his experience with Fusion. His response was "have none but the info is all over the place".
