Good article. The Pz III was a little late for the campaign in France where PZ I and II dominated.
The best tank the Germans had at the time was the Czech 38T with a 37mm gun.
The author is correct about the PZ III being active up until the end of the war in Norway. Below is a video of Pz forces surrendering in Norway. They look to have PZ III J's or L's for anti-armor and PZ III N's with short 75s for anti infantry work. The light, versatile platform was ideal for the far north environment. Side note: the Panzertruppen discipline is impressive even in defeat.
