Anyone else here wear or use paracord bracelets ? I think I need an intervention or something. I find that they look pretty neat and they have many uses if a situation arises...

Cut a piece of electric wire the right length, wrap para cord round it then hot glue into brass. I had a "gun group" friend who wanted extra rounds handy for his Thompson. He told me the caliber & his wrist size, i made him a para cord bracelet that held 5 rounds. He still uses it today.

A couple rifle slings I made to fit me. A couple single point rifle slings. I had one I started with a 3rd cobra braid for bout a foot. It looked like a cobra snake. Lol. I gave it away too.

I’ve made a few paracord bracelets over the years and even used one with a small firestarter embedded in the buckle for camping trips. They're also a cool match with mens wedding bands if you go with darker colors or rugged styles. I usually carry one clipped to my range bag just in case—a lot more handy than you'd think until you need it.

I worked in a machine shop for several years. We were not allowed to wear long-sleeved shirts or anything on our wrist below our elbows. Even now anything on my wrist just drives me nuts.

All that said, paracord bracelets just scream Vet-Bro to me

If I really think I'm going to need paracord, which is very useful I'll carry a roll in my pocket actually keep a roll in my get home bag that's in my car.
