Picked up my 2 new Springfields today... pictures.

Master Class
I love Springfields, and I've loved the Echelon since first released. Used my main one, modified, for steel plate challenge shooting, and then the 4.0c comp for CCW.

But I caved in and got the two same but in "Pro" version. Still trying to decide if I want to keep them iron sights, or either get new dots or use the ones I have already, which are great. Decisions, decisions.

Anyway, here's the 2 new ones. Pro Full and Pro 4.0c comp. (both are comp'ed this time.)

And now the old vs new Full... My orginal is heavy modified for competition shooting.

and then my 4.0's... concealed carry purpose.

Range day next week, excited... going to compare old vs new... before I clean, pack, and sell the olds.

Thanks for visiting.

Very good Echelon collection.

I really like they grey on black look. What do you think of the new grip texture? I think it looks really good but is it more "aggressive" than the original grip?
Well, I like the grips because I live in Florida and rain and sweat is a big thing down here most of the years. I imagine they could be a little too course for some, but they fit my need and location. Fits nice and tight in my hand also.

Hi,

Very nice! I'm a Springfield fanboy too, with several from the XD line along with a couple of Echelon units and 1911s. I've been eyeballing the new Pro units. I'm looking forward to your range reports.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
