when i first saw this... i was thats not our chiefs name... then i see its another state
ours do raffles like that all the time for community events

I remember sitting in "the pit" as a new guard as an I/M was talking to an older guard. The I/M was due to be released in a couple of days and said, "I know where I made my mistake, I won't get caught next time". :rolleyes: I remember thinking I think he missed the whole point. Little did I know then that over the next 25 years he would become a frequent flyer, and I would get to know him well.

Over 40 years of various LE duty I ended up with a career in corrections. Spending over 20 years in BOP working a High US Penitentiary they commit over 1,800 serious felonies to the one they get hooked over. It’s what you don’t know they did hih should be concerned with!
 
Fortunately, the chief doesn't do much law enforcement. Every case he worked will now have to be dismissed.
In court, the defense attorney just has to ask: "Have you ever committed a felony crime?"
As soon as he says "yes." the case is over...

He forgot every officer there is a detective (of sorts).
It doesn't take long to find criminals when you see them every day.
 
I don't do raffles, most of them are rigged. not all but the waterfowl organizations here are really crooked. the same few win every time. and they try and tell you all proceeds go to some organization which is a lie. a little does but not all.
