I had guns at age 8.
A .410 shotgun to go after school and shoot rabbit, grouse and pheasant. As I saw the need to go get dinner when mom/dad requested fresh game.
nothing wrong with firearms as long as they are respected and the child/family is "responsible firearms owners".

Millions of kids grew up with firearms. millions of kids didnt do any harm to another person either.
 
Yeah that was years ago. Parents were a lot more responsible and so were we. It's not that way today. A good example is kids here walking around with guns and parents know nothing. WTF is wrong with parents today?
 
Yes exactly! We used to go with our bikes and 22 rifles to go shoot rabbits and this was in Massachusetts. If someone was to walk down the street especially a kid with a firearm now, all hell would break out.

Was that back when MA was still a part of the US and followed the Constitution, allowing guns?
