So you guys know I’ve been researching optics and plates for my Prodigy. I measure twice and cut once as my papaw used to say. So I think I found the correct 6x48 screws for the plate to slide at ACE hardware as they have a gun screw section. So I have trust issues that are an occupational hazard that spills into my personal life lol. So I contacted Springfield and they are shipping me 2 new screws free of charge. It was a simple chat with the customer service rep. So those who are hesitant to contact them…don’t be. So probably gonna go with an Impact Machine plate and the Ronin EPS carry.

Did the same for me when my Ronin's rear sight set screw flew out at a range. Didn't notice it until the rear sight was loose when cleaning later. Called 'em up, new screw sent no charge. They are VERY good about this sort of thing....

I bought a used Scout/Squad rifle and discovered that one of the forward optic mount screws was missing. One call, no problem.
Similar thing when I bought a used 1911 Ultra compact. Needed the little takedown piece. Again, they sent me two no charge.
Springfield has some of the best customer service in the business.

Back when I was shooting IDPA regularly, I used a 1911 Loaded Model. At somewhere around 30-35K rounds, the barrel lug cracked. No questions asked. Springfield sent me a shipping label, repaired the gun and had it back to me in 8 days.
It just don't get any better than that.
