So…Jason Isbell played a song last night by a band that I love…

And kinda forgot about.

The band was Drivin’ n Cryin’.

Song was Honeysuckle Blue…but…it reminded of the song that I first heard by them, and…damn, it’s good.

Scarred but Smarter, off their same-named album.

The past week I have been listening to Brain Squeeze Reactions out of the UK to songs on Youtube, in particular Led Zeppelin. His being a lifelong hiphopper makes these a totally new experience. I do not think I have laughed so much in years. He is filthy mouthed swears like a platoon of Marines but he reminds me so much of hearing each song the first time. Last one I watched this morning was Since I've been loving you live version. His reaction to Jimmy Page using a violin bow was priceless.
