Most of us know loved ones and friends who have the disease or have succumbed to it. It's a gut-wrenching experience for the patient and even worse for the family. I've been their. My pops died from it.

All I have to say is, they better work fast on this.

My Dad had Alzheimers for years before he died. It is heartbreaking to watch the decline. Mercifully brain cancer took him at 82 before Alzheimers reached end stage. Alzheimers is a dirty trick on a keenly intelligent human being. My sympathy for those who are living with it. Praying for a cure.

I get it. Witnessing my pops go from brutally strong in mind and body to helpless, was a nightmare.
