President says they have suspect in custody

Hi,

"Both sides", what a crock!

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

When it first came out, they were claiming it was a professional hit. I thought at 200 yards anyone with just basic rifle experience and a little range time could do that shot. Not that hard. I'm thinking he was aiming for a headshot and didn't count on the bullet drop. Glad they got him. I don't follow news since retirement. BUT in the last 20 years has a democrat or liberal ever been targeted, or has it always been the right as the target, you know the ones with all the guns and made out to be the killers. I could be wrong. But the republican baseball game, trump, and now Charlie.

Glad they got him. No one should lose there life because of an opinion. No matter what side your on.

To my knowledge there are two 30-06 bolt action rifles that are take down,Sako which I had one and Mauser. They were made for storage and travel.
Only picture I have seen it was not in two pieces.

Are we being led to believe he took the time to break it down, stuff it into his pants or backpack (again, the video I've seen he doesn't appear to be carrying a rifle), then puts it back together in the woods where it was found?

Or did someone tamper with that evidence for a photo-op and put it back in one piece?

Or why would the alleged killer not dispose of the rifle by dumping one piece here, the other over there?

Questions man, I got lots of questions ... I mean lots of questions....

The media (for what it's worth) describe the rifle as a WWII German Mauser chambered for the 30.06. I'm sure as most of you know the German's only produced the 98k in 8mm, not 30.06. I'm guessing that this is a reworked 98k with a new 30.06 barrel and that the rifle was sporterised liked 100s of other WWII rifles. It hasn't been mentioned whether or not the rifle had a scope.

It had a scope, so I heard. I even heard the size scope, but I can't remember what they said. And yes, it was a k98 (or 98k) chambered in .30-06...obviously sporterized like millions of deer guns around the country.

A video from a house camera showed him walking down the street with a limp dragging his right foot. In that video his right hand is in his pocket appearing to be holding onto something.

The only way in my opinion he could have smuggled that rifle onto the campus without detection was to break it down, put the barrel/action down his pants and put the stock in his back pack and then reassemble the rifle once on the roof.

The stock? Hmmm…

In the video where he jumps off the building onto the grass??? I still don't see a rifle or body language that would indicate he’s carrying a rifle?

So after the shot, he would have needed to quickly disassemble the rifle, put the barrel down his pants again and put the stock back into his backpack? And after running into the wooded area reassemble the rifle? Did the investigators find a complete rifle or a disassembled one?

This isn't quite adding up unless the video showing him jumping off the building onto the grass is missing something? Or is it AI?

Am thinking something is rotten in Denmark. At least someone had the foresight to bring an empty box along to collect the rifle.

8mm/06 is not a common caliber…had one but sold it. It was fairly available in the 60s, along with the7.7/06 Jap. But I doubt that more than a few hundred are still operational. More likely, it is a commercial 98 action in 06. The news has no concept of firearm calibers…

The video I saw last night of a person running across a rooftop and then scaling down to the ground certainly did not appear to be carrying a rifle.

Pretty clear here - it's bagged.

While watching fox news last night they showed this for just a second or 2 and didn't see it anymore. https://img-s-msn-com.akamaized.net/tenant/amp/entityid/AA1MiNOo.img?w=810&h=539&m=4&q=79 And i watched the news for about 2 more hours and never saw it again. I hope this aint another cover up like when trump got shot. All i saw after that was him running on the roof then jumping off and in the woods where he dropped the gun, and then walking thru a neighbor hood before he got on the roof. It doesn't make sense to me why the person who saw him on the roof with the camera didn't holler, warn people. correct me if i'm wrong just my JMHO

Although I only watched a few of the videos with CK debating or sometimes basically just talking with people about their beliefs on the current events both political and religious I found him to be honest and non-judgmental. My opinion.
Many are calling The murder “Assassination” of CK an attack on free speech “1st amendment” and although that can be said to be obvious I believe strongly “without going into detail” that there is more to it on the political side.
Social media is blowing up about people celebrating this horrible tragedy and by no means am I condoning or justifying celebrating this murder I find it disgusting that someone would say that this is a good thing however on the flip side of that many others have taken upon themselves to identify these people and not only to call them out on their behavior but to dig deep into their lives and contacted their employers and have gotten them fired from their jobs?
Now going back to what many are saying about why CK was murdered was because he used the 1st amendment on free speech to voice his views and opinions……
Well isn’t that what everyone else is doing?? NOW I’M NOT SAYING THAT loosing your job is the same as being assassinated; by no means it is not.
But shouldn’t the act of free speech go both ways???
Is it karma or just being hypocritical???

On the religious side there are many quotes in the Bible that say if you remove the shepherd the flock will scatter however what CK stood for and talked strongly about is becoming a movement and all I see now is solidarity.

Rest in peace Charlie Kirk and may god bless you and your family.
