Problems with Colt 1911 magazines

I own a SA 1911 mil spec. Only one magazine came with the pistol purchased new. I bought 2 Colt 7 round magazines and they both worked in my 1911 initially, they now both lock up the slide during feed.
My Springfield magazines are working properly.
Does anyone know if Colt magazines just aren’t compatible with a Springfield? Or, is the issue with the magazines? I think the magazines were sold second hand on eBay.

Colt mags should not be causing an issue with the pistol. I have run Colt mags and have not had any issues. I like them, although they are not too on my list they would make my list of “trusted” mags. I don’t know if you just bought them and you could load them and let them sit a few days and try it again.

Those are all good mags.
