Protest is ok, Violent Protest is another thing. Agree disagree with Wayne Ivey?

A legitimate protest does not include firebombing, looting and generally running amok. That is a riot, pure and simple. No problem with a protest, but believe riots should be crushed, quickly and decisively. That mess in LA could have been stopped quickly by an order to immediately disperse, followed quickly by water cannons washing A-holes down the street and into the sewers where rats belong

No matter what the media reports them as, any damage to property is defined in US code as a "riot", or any threats to damage property.

(b)As used in this chapter, the term “to incite a riot”, or “to organize, promote, encourage, participate in, or carry on a riot”, includes, but is not limited to, urging or instigating other persons to riot, but shall not be deemed to mean the mere oral or written

Simple fact: Throwing a brick or molotov cocktail at a LEO is deadly force, and you meet deadly force with deadly force. I personally would put snipers on rooftops to target rock and firebomb throwers.
