I respect peoples right to carry and peacefully protest. But honestly sometimes I wish people would think this through a little more thoroughly. This has bad idea written all of it, IMHO.

I'm sure this guy has the RIGHT to carry his rifle at a bus stop ..... but he obviously doesn't have the good sense NOT TO! There may be others as hard core supporters as I am for the 2nd amendment, but there ain't many any harder core than me. But this kind of crap makes all us pro gun folks look like fools and devils. What causes some to think stunts like this are acceptable? jj

Not the sharpest tack in the box, gun don't even have sights on it. Lots of ways to protest the law other than scaring kids at a bus stop. but on a note i get what he is doing. he's showing them not everyone with an AR is dangerous. i do get his meaning.

I also believe in peaceful protest. This guy apparently had good intentions and garnered some attention but there was likely a little better way to do that. The law he was protesting is a stupid one!
