They have been manufacturing ammo for 93 years in this Serbian factory. Does anyone have experience with it? I'm going to break down and spend way more than I want to for 5.56 and this is one of the deals.

My experience with PPU has been mostly with 10mm for cheap range ammo but it's been reliable.

If the price is right grab what you can.

Well the price definitely isn't right, but...

I went to get it and while I was on their website it went from 9 in stock to zero in stock before I could check out. Other people have it though. It's all running around $.97/round. Man I hate to pay that.

It’s solid ammo; I just bought a case of their M193; I’ve run it before, it’ll stand with US surplus Lake City/Federal, etc.

I think I’ve run most of the calibers they make, as well; being Euro, they tend to be a little in the warmer side, which means .32’s and .25’s run pretty reliably with it.

I have some for the 10 also in hp and have been good.

I like it. I have a bunch of it in .223. Bought it last year before it started approaching $1.

I've used 69 gr .223 PPU ammo. Maybe not quite as good as other top-notch loads but shoots well.

I thought their 77gr Match loads were pretty darn good, considering their price...pre-panic usually around .50/rd.

Huh. I just remembered I bought a half-case of that a couple years ago, and still have most of it left...

I agree. I think I have a small stash for the 600 yd leg of Service Rifle competitions. Have more PPU 69's for the shorter legs.

I ran some PPU .223 Match ammo over my chronograph a while back. I was amazed at how ballistic constant is was round to round.

I have shot their pistol ammo before and their 6.5 Grendel loads are actually very accurate. Plus the brass is great for reloading.

I wound up with Lake City anyway. Now I know though if I see a good deal on the PPU I won't hesitate.
