I haven't felt up to going to the range for several weeks now, but I finally made it out for a short trip today. There's a match coming up this weekend that's open to any manufacturer as opposed to the usual GSSF or rimfire matches the range holds. I haven't shot at all in almost a month, so I knew I needed to get to the range pronto. When it comes to shooting, I'm still not back to 100% after my strokes but I'm trying. I'm still not quite used to using a dot but I'm slowly getting better. When trying to decide between my Echelon 4.0C or my Gen 6 19 I thought I'd take my Hellcat along and practice the course. I bought my Hellcat when they were first released so needless to say I have more trigger time with it.
The compact course of fire is 3, 5, 7, 10, and 15 yards with 5 rds at each distance
The shot in the -1 was from 15 yards
I thought I'd shoot a few rounds with the Echelon 4.0. I wasn't too concerned with 5 - 10 yds so I started at 15 yds, followed by 25 yds.
25 yards was NOT pretty
I was starting to get winded, so I thought I'd shoot a few rounds through my Gen 6
If I'm able to shoot the match this weekend, I'm seriously considering shooting the Hellcat.
If you took the time to read this post, thank you
