Some of you may know "Finnegan Fox", a popular internet fox known for his unique "laugh". Mikayla ran a Fox rescue with her husband, funded by the fox's internet fame. However, she was bullied on Reddit by the left (the PETA folks, mostly) so bad, she took her own life a few days ago.

I hope the Justice Dept. comes down hard on Reddit and every last person involved. This is just terribly sad.

Rest in peace, Mikayla. She was 29 years old. My heart goes out to her husband and young daughter.

There's absolutely more to it than that. But when you're standing on a ledge and someone pushes you off, regardless of how you got TO the ledge, they're still just as guilty.

The people we associate with (gun folk) are usually considered very tough, mentally. We're a difficult crowd to shake. So it's a bit harder for us to understand those that aren't.

It's no different than some people having a high pain tolerance and others don't, or some people can handle the extreme heat or cold and other's can't.

Regardless, shame on those that bullied her and others.

The task falls to folks like us to see that those who bullied her never see her death as a victory. We need to keep the passion she exemplified alive and send the message that her passion will never die and can't be snuffed out by small minds.

The printing revolution democratized knowledge, accelerated the spread of ideas, fueled the Renaissance, and laid the groundwork for the average person learning to read. Essentally individuals could become imformed and think for themselves. People learned that the world wasn't as flat as they had been led to believe. You think that went well with the powers that ruled?
 
Darn shame about this young lady who lost her life because of the pressures she felt herself to be under. People actually think that other folks in the cyber world’s opinions actually matter. I Remember reading a few years ago about how modern communications are the source of a huge percentage of stress in people’s lives today. 210 years ago the fastest man had ever traveled was the speed of a horse or sailing ship. Something happen in Washington it’d be days before most people found out. Something happen in Europe? It’d be weeks, if ever, before you’d hear about it. Now somebody half a world away passes gas and it’s broadcast as “Breaking news” within a few minutes. When I was a kid, national news was 30 minutes each evening, followed by another 30 of local news. That was it ( unless something really big like the Kennedy assassination, space flight) caused them to break in on regular programming. Today, with the same world and same issues, news is a 24 hour per day business. Nothing happening? Not to worry, we’ll come up with something to rattle on about. You’ll never, ever, hear them say “ that’s all the news there is for today, so we are going to show I Love Lucy and Andy Griffith the rest of the day”. Frankly, if you tune in for 15 minutes a day you’ll hear ALL the real news that’s important. The rest is just repeating and regurgitating the same drivel. Folks get so caught up in the virtual world that it becomes reality to them, hence cyber bullying. When I was a kid, the bully was the big dude who pushed the littler kids around. You had to learn to deal with him. Cyber bully, heck, turn him off😏 or block him. Problem solved.
 
And that, my friends, is why this is the closest I will ever get to social media. The ability to be remain anonymous and go out of your way to hurt/libel/ disgrace people is nothing I want a part of. I should also mention that the receivers of this trash seem to be too thin skinned and can’t even find the ability to shut off their computer, flinging it easier to commit suicide.
