Range report 8/27/28

Professional
What a day for a report. I decided to go to the range on a vacation day to get some therapy.

On the way to the range I saw party lights and decided to investigate what the issue was since it was more than the typical 2. What I saw was something to be unseen again.

I was there for a little bit watching the work party in progress.

I finally had enough of the snooping and finished the drive to the range. I brought in my CZ Shadow 2 and left the 2 XDm’s in the car.

There were 3 gentleman chatting about the typical Illinois gun stuff as I set up.

I finally set up the first target to poke holes through with wireless hole puncher I just modified earlier

This target was set up at 5 yards and shot it with federal American eagle 124 grain. Personally I’m still trying to get used to the hole red dot thing.

The 2 target I set up at 10 yards.

Yes it’s done with federal Champion 115 grain. At this moment I realize that the CZ S2 is fun.

Target number 3 is another 10 yard. I’m starting to pick up the whole dot thing.

At this moment I joined the conversation about how Illinois is (I know a few of us Illinois residents can just jam on things). The common agreement was Chicago needs to have a wall put up and let the rest of the state be free.

Last target was a test of rapid fire with the CZ.

Hi,

I can't get enough of those big raggedy holes! Nice work. That red Shadow is such a fine looking firearm.

I seem to notice that at least one of your targets always has a hit on the wrist. Are you practicing to shoot the gun out of the bad guy's hand? ;) They do it in the Westerns all the time. :p Hey, thanks for sharing your fun.

Thank you for your indulgence,

I do try my best not to repeat the same hole. Even though the targets are free, I get carried away on what I’m doing.

I blame the nice gun for the better shooting. I honestly think it’s well worth the price tag honestly.

The red really suits it well.
yes, with out a doubt, the heavier a 9mm is, the better control all of us have....but like i said, and for me alone, i just cannot justify the cost of that particular CZ in 9mm, when the 75 B models do every bit as good...

you my friend, just "look goodlier than me", shooting that thing.....

you just might be a high society fashion maven....( a high compliment)

i look at it this way, the more one can put it into the same hole, the more precise one gets (or is)

i was gonna say sumeting else about "in the same hole"............

but.......well............

my wife is in the room with mne right now.

Honestly it’s my one “nice” gun. I been eyeing up a Shadow 2 for a while (seen them at the range and was jealous). The Shadow 2 is based off of the CZ 75. So with that been said, I promote you rocking the 75B because it fits you.
