Range Report Nov 6 - G20

Started at 5yds, then out to 10yds. Ammo used was magtech 180gr fmj (no FTE or FTF) and S&B 180gr fmj (many FTF no FTE) - apparently this ammo and this DD barrel do not get along. Noted. Odd bc they look almost identical.

Disregard the overly used backstop - other users before me. Pics 1-3 show gloves on/off and left hand dominant/rt hand support plus rf hand dominant/left had support. No single hand shooting today.

Gloves used were Magpul fde and also Strongsuit green. Interestingly I can feel the G20 better and shoot a little more accurate with the Magpuls than the Strongsuits.

Off topic - again, youngsters going to handle their rifle when ceasefire called. They ignored the ROs telling them to stop back behind the yellow safety line. I growled at them to stop and told them to not touch the gun. They complied. At the end once I had decided to leave, they did it again - both times with folks forward of the line checking targets.

Looks like a great day at the range, except for the stupid people. It's been a while since I've been on a public firing line. At my old place the RSO would walk by every station making sure all firearms were unloaded, action open, chamber flags, everything, before letting anyone downrange to check or change their targets.

I'm little surprised to hear the S&B was giving you issues. I've never used their 10mm, but their 9mm is one of my favorites. You think it was incompatible with your barrel? Interesting. But I have very limited experience with 10mm, just my XDM Elite that's been fed only LAX/Freedom Munitions. If it works, don't fix it. Thanks for sharing your day.

BTW, your third picture glitched. Or maybe it's just me who can't see it.
