Range Report: SIG P365XL Spectre — Battle Worn

Interesting, but…I guess I don’t get the whole “battle worn” look appeal.

The way I see it…if you want your pistol (or rifle) to look like that…get out there and USE IT and earn that patina. That surface look will get that way on its own with a ten thousand holster presentations, give or take a few thousand…and, hey; you might just get better at shooting it, too.

Just my point of view.

If you are into that sort of thing, good for you, but at $900 for a few bucks more you could buy an X5 Legion, or for $300 less an M-17. Different guns sure, but you can get so much more for that price. But this is what Sig does. It’s just a matter of time before the HI Power Emperor Scorpion drops and three quarters of the gun community loses its 💩 lining up for one.

Battle wear finish damage is cool if it's genuine, just damage if it isn't. I know a guitar player that deliberately 'aged' a brand new guitar because the greats treasure their old beaters with a million road miles on them. SRV's old #1 had fire damage along with chunks knocked out, a real mess. New looks a lot better.
