Ranges

I just renewed my membership at my range for $235 for the year. Can't draw from holster, some ammo restrictions...but they have been adding quite a few courses on defensive shooting, etc. Last year they finished construction of a new indoor rifle range, and they expanded the building off the pistol range to accommodate several classrooms so I think there has been recognition of the need for growth there. It's still not top notch for sure, but it's a start.

I wish mine do something. The one ☝️ I do like is 100 miles away.

A (TWRA) Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency outdoor public (gated) range for both pistol and rifle with limited hours of operation (3) days a week...no SRO on site plenty of Do's and Dont's signage. Requires a current annual resident state hunting license or in my case a lifetime license (age based). NO FEE's.
There are drawbacks as you might expect first come first serve at all stations...best time right at sunrise before the inrush begins. 1/2 hr. trip
