Ratcheting gun belt?

I got one of the Nextbelt versions a couple of years ago. It has held up well, and I can cinch as tight as needed when I am carrying, say, a revolver instead of a 1911 but both in an inside the waistband holster. I am a fan. I also saw the MidwayUSA has them under the Bianchi name.

A good stiff belt is an often overlooked component to comfortably carrying a sidearm, yet is it of critical importance. Many balk at the price of a good belt, so they make due with a flimsy Walmart special. It is frequently uncomfortable to carry concealed...don't add to that by using a cheap belt or a cheapo clip on one size fits all holster. Your life could depend on it. Buy cheap shirts. Buy secondhand jeans. But buy good shoes and good gear to hold your pistol and ammo.

I have been seeing ads for ratcheting gun belts and it intrigues me. Does anyone here have them and what's your experience?
I wear Kore belts and they ratchet. I love them because you can adjust in small increments rather than being stuck with one hole or the other. Had a ratcheting Kore battle belt and it was really nice too.

BTW, I wear the Kore belts all the time. They have just become the standard belt for me.

Don’t let Simon fool you, this is his actual belt he uses…..

I have ran a next belt and it has held up for about 3-4 years. It needs replaced but has been my daily belt for the whole time.

My son is a commercial fisherman fish and now crabs (never thought when I said my son caught Crabs it would be in a good way)

I bought him one after I got one and he is in his second one in 4 years.

I can’t speak on any other brand yet

This. I have Kore belts in all colors they offer in buffalo leather (four different at time I ordered). I also have two of the web belts made in USA. Most have the abbreviated concealed carry buckles, though I do have their Texas buckle, but currently not on a belt. Buckles are a cinch to change whenever you need to and the belts are super easy to size. Bear in mind you can resize them if you LOSE weight…if you gain…not so much 😂!
