Is there a way to find a base to mount a red dot on the Xdm 10mm 5.25in competition model?

Since the factory hasn't made a version with that compatibility you'd have to go with a custom job with a smith IMO.

Thanks for the info, do you know of any companies that make a replacement sight for the comp model (not a red dot) but at least tritium night sight type - I have a hard time picking up just the straight black

Focus on the front sight. Scroll down to se the .125 tritium front. $50 ea.

There's no replacement for the rear sight since its a competition model.

OK, I found this that will allow for a red dot to be mounted. Must replace the rear sight though.
