All my optics are green, except for one. The one red dot I have is put away in some drawer, unused now. The only reason I had it in the first place is because it came with the pistol as part of the deal.

I'm an oddball and prefer red. I lose green dots in foliage pretty severely.

the only DOT if i recall for the Holson optic i recently bought, was green, and frankly due to an issue in my eye, the green is way better than the red for me.....

i keep my green dot as bright as it can be set at.......but it also has an automatic, brightness control, that can override my setting in bright sunlight. or something like that.

All my Springfields have a green fiber optic, due to my red-green color blindness I cannot see the red one very well.
Besides all my stuff is old and cannot have a optic installed.

i thought you were kidding, but a quick googling, and shore enough..gold dot from Holson...

does look nice too.....but i wonder if under some circumstances, it washes out in sunlight of various brightness..???

I’m still on the fence since I’m new to it. Red sticks out better right now.
