Rehabbing some SIG P22X's... the current project

mreed911

Master Class
I've got three SIG P-series guns I'm rehabbing. All auction/gunbroker buys (damn you GT Distributors!). P226, P229 and P220.

They're all disassembled - they'll get a good cleaning then I'm going to touch up the frames and slides with chemicals (bluing, blackening), but first I spent the night with 2000 grit sandpaper and 0000 steel wool taking out any rough spots in either.

After I'm happy with the re-blue/re-black, I'll put them back together with new springs, short reset trigger parts, reduced power hammer and sear springs, solid steel guide rods and lighter range ammo recoil springs, and replacement/OEM trigger bar springs. The 226 and 229 are getting new Dawson fiber front/flat black sights, the 220 has an integral front sight so I'm leaving it alone. All are getting new hogue rubbery grips.
