Looks like Remington will be back up manufacturing the 870 as of March 1st,
glad this old company will be producing firearms again, hopefully the quality will be on par.

I thought their ammo manufacturing was bought up by another ammo manufacturer? They got bought up by half a dozen different entities no? I remember Palmetto state walking away with the bulk of their assets.

They can't start making new 870's fast enough. I saw a used 870 Express advertised on Guns.com for over $800. The scary part is that I'm pretty sure someone out there will actually buy it.
