Same here, I thought I'd buy a mag just to see if I like them, and the 'super thin' grips... could not check out, not 65 bucks. Thats a no from me.

I doubt I need any more 1911 magazines since I have maybe 15. I replaced the springs on all my old ones recently and the others (Wilson and Mecgar) work great. Let's see how this plays out.

Even if the total is over $65 they still charge shipping (I tried that).
I just went to the site to try ordering 1 mag to try also. Thought they might have changed their rules on order size by now. Nope they haven't. Plus for one mag after shipping and tax was just a few cents cheaper than what I would pay at my local Gun store for Kimber Kim/Pro magazines.
I bought 7 of the Kim/Pro mags at about $29.00 each. I have used the Kim/Pro mags before when I had the Kimber Tactical ultra II and I never had any issues with the mags. So far after 400 rounds , no issues with the 8 rounders and don't expect any either.
