What is the difference between a clip, a stripper clip and a magazine? These terms seem to often be used to describe the same thing.

So many folks refer to a magazine, say a Glock magazine as a “clip” when it’s NOT. More irritating or annoying than anything. Almost like calling an AR an “assault rifle” . A clip for say a Springfield 1903 is nothing like a magazine. A clip vs a magazine.
