Diversions are ok. Can't listen to bad news all the time, you will turn into a bitter liberal. Having fun is the best part about being a conservative! When I was a young man a couple of years out of college, I ran a lot of the Mother Road in style on weekend trips just for fun. Good times.

I have zero problems with this celebration. I understand why it's a big deal in New Mexico. It will be here in AZ.

Just don't use taxes to fund the celebration. We have many issues the tax income should be used for.

I miss the '65 stingray convertible I had. I'll get another 1 day!

It was black w/427 hood. To bad it didn't have the og engine (327mfi)! The cowl and ridge was silver.

US60 is combined with part of 66 iirc. I40 ruined it as stated in the cartoon Cars. Many small towns suffered as the result

For a quarter century I lived two blocks north of Route 66 in SoCal. I drove on it all the time. There are still quite a few interesting stops along the way. Good stuff.
